Panera Bread - Orland Park

Absolutely chaotic. The place was extremely dirty. I had to wipe my own table with wet napkins. My son had warned me about them the day before. The cashier was unhelpful; when I asked a question, she simply said, "I don't know." I never even asked about what I wanted with my sandwich or about a dessert for 99 cents. Completely unacceptable! When I went to the restroom, I saw girls standing there on their phones instead of cleaning.

If you're looking for a great spot for an interview, a work meeting, or just a casual lunch with family or friends, this place is ideal. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasantly quiet. Plus, any excuse to indulge in their selection of baked goods is a valid one—especially the brownies, which are definitely a highlight! Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

This was my first visit to the new location after the move from Michael's Plaza, and it wasn't a great experience. The person who took our order seemed indifferent, almost like he didn't want to be there. He asked for my selections and I ended up being charged separately for a chicken sandwich and a soup. I also had to wait a long time for my ice cream. When it finally arrived, it was so watery with milk that it barely resembled ice cream. The staff at the old location really knew what they were doing, which made this visit all the more disappointing. We won't be returning anytime soon.

I was with this panera several times and never had a problem. always fast and delicious! while I ate my broccoli cheddar soup, I took a spoon in my mouth and felt a little sharp and hard. I don't know how it ended in the suppe, but it looked like a piece of plastic. so disappointed.

This place has gotten so much better. I think they got a new manager. Mac N Cheese used to take 30 minutes to prepare for a pickup order made inside the restaurant 4-6 months ago. Last two visits these last few weeks i had my mac n cheese within 5 minutes. They are getting better!
