Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

We just ordered take out from here. First time trying Raising Cane's. We decided to try it due to all the hype. When we arrived the parking lot was madness. Thankfully we ordered ahead of time and drove over. The chicken itself is pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. It was breaded nicely. Chicken was juicy. But there was hardly (if any) seasoning in the breading which made it pretty lackluster for me. The fries weren't that great. Mushy and hardly any salt. We liked the Cane's sauce though. Overall, it's fine. But I've had much better.

Service took forever for just opening. Took over 15 minutes to get my food. the lady asked us what our order was over 3 times. Once we got to the window workers were chatting and hugging instead of working. we asked for a cup of water which is supposed to be FREE. charged us for a bottle of water for $3 and gave us a CUP. At least give the bottle if you screwed up. They said they refunded me but didn’t ask for my card back. They gave me a revised receipt but no refund!!! update:they resolved the water issue but definitely would like to avoid confusions like that

Food was amazing! The service on the other hand…the cashier was really rude. He acted like he didn’t want to be there, looking everywhere but at us as he took our order. I ordered two kids meals for my children and asked for the 12-oz fountain drink (that is clearly written as an option under the kids meals). He told me it comes with milk or juice, I again asked for the fountain drink option and pointed to the board where it was listed. He repeated himself at least 2 more times asking if we wanted the milk or juice. I had to say two more times, no, the fountain drinks. He finally all but rolled his eyes and went to get me the kids fountain drink cups. I just don't understand the problem. If you don’t want to work there, then quit!! So rude! Other than that, food was out in a reasonable time and it was delicious.

Person at the counter couldn't be less miserable. She mumbled and frowned. Food was tasty.
