Fritters too had little flavor and were very light in salt!! Overall bland food, very poor!! Avoid, if you want anything resembling authentic Indian food.
Chicken Tikka Masala Lunch has degraded in quality over the years while the price has gone up. Chicken tikka masala had only two tiny pieces of chicken hardly satiating and made me wonder why im paying so much only for the gravy/curry. The naan was burnt and chewy. The samosa is half the size of what it used to be. Very disappointed. I wonder if the chef and management have changed for the worse.
The lunch plates were excellent, especially the flavorful garlic naan. Our portions were very generous. Ram and the rest of the staff went above and beyond and were attentive. The ambience and decor are modern and pleasant. Saffron is our favorite Indianrestaurant in Orlando.
We went here for dinner on Memorial Day. Despite the holiday, and despite going very close to the closing time we went in at 9:40pm), they were able to accommodate us for dine-in unlike another restaurant a couple of doors away that despite being openrefused to take orders for both carry out and dine-in. And for that, I will always be very grateful to Saffron Indiancuisine. We ordered a tikki for appetizers followed by malai kofta, dal tadka, tandoori roti and raita for main course. Thefood was piping hot, fresh and well spiced. The dal was in fact exceptional- soothing and comforting like you?d expect it to be.Service was very quick and responsive. Our server Calso did an amazing job. The decor of the place was also good. Woulddefinitely recommend this place for their good food, and good service.
We received excellent service from our waiter, celso, and he was with his recommendations when I asked for them.
