Shannon Irish Pub - Orléans

I went there one afternoon of great heat, installing myself on the very nicely sheltered terrace. I ordered a smoothie at 3,50€ thinking that the price would be equivalent to quality and quantity: I find myself with a small glass finished in five small barleys and taste, though good, quite common. I won't recommend for these services.

On the hundreds of bars that I have been able to visit in my life so far, this one is certainly among the 5 worst.(Non-)choice of the map: our group of 10 friends settles on the terrace, perfectly located on the square. this bar is recommended for its wide choice of special beers. at the time of the order, surprise, among the fifteen special beers proposed on the slates to the walls, none is available. No luck.Nourriture = unworthy we order two plates of charcuterie/cheese board. surprise, the boards arrive accompanied by triangles of mie bread worthy of the worst sodebo sandwiches of highway area. miam! deplorable cleanliness two shannon giraffes (the only beer available in giraffe) then arrive, accompanied by cracked glasses (see photo, it's worth a look). How could they give us such disgusted glasses, without wanting to sink six feet under ground, of shame? Obviously it didn't upset them (usually?) and brought us the washed glasses. In the face of the disaster, we will pass the fact that the toilets, no soap dispensers... are supplied with soap.Ambiance.. not at all granted, the atmosphere of this typical Irish bar is ignited: big techno music / rave party. Is the bar staff equipped with ears? Not sure. In short, a carnage, not a single positive point apart from the terrace. What a waste, run that bar if you can still!

It's annoying to enter such a nice place to fall on such a unfriendly waitress. So uncomfortable that she smiling the waiter... who has to go to the bar, if it's not to have a hint and a smile, just put a vending machine!

Stopped for a couple of pre-dinner drinks. Sat outside under the awnings to escape the rain. Plenty of smokers sitting outside (we are non-smokers) but not too intrusive. Busy, but when eventually caught the waiting staff's eye, very good table service.

Cheap and well situated. The food is the shame for France. Mold on the cheese and probably 2 or 3 days old meat. Watch for food poisoning.
