Denny's - Ormond Beach

Mother hasn't been in a Denny's for 5 years and I for 10. It was a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Our server Marty made it particularly appealing. The place was clean service was fast and the food was hot and delicious. We were never without coffee. We'll come a lot more often.

Our food was perfect, cooked by Nick! And our service was just as good! Our server was Marty! Everyone was so friendly and gifted, I really had a great experience! I definitely come back to breakfast more often! Nothing was too crisp or too soft! And Marty often came back to make sure everything goes well! The memory number I was given is 7450!

Dennys has always been loved. I wasn't here for what it felt like old, I can see that there are tons of new physical to store changes in the, but a thing stay constant: they always welcome them with a big smile! breakfast eating is warm, filling and also beautiful! marty, she is great. love their energy! marty. Stop making you! will take photos next time! we were busy eating and forgetting!

The food was good, but the restaurant was FREEZING!! Apparently the AC broke in the kitchen so the cooks cranked the dining area AC down to penguin. Our server, Sydney, said she told them many customers were complaining and some even leaving without ordering, and it fell on deaf ears. Had it not been for my wife having 2 coats to put on, one each on her shoulders and lap, she wouldn't have been able to tolerate the cold. We almost left without even being seated. I understand the cooks predicament, but just telling customers to deal with it instead of searching for alternatives isn't right. Back to the server, Sydney. She is everything you want from a waitress. She is outgoing, pleasant, and very attentive. I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup, and never once had to look for her or flag her down to get anything. Sydney is the kind of server that brings people back to your restaurant, and always leaving with a smile. If I go back, I will certainly be requesting her to be my waitress.

Food was ok but very expensive. There were only 2 total employees in the front plus I think there was a cook and a busboy who finally came out to clean about 6 tables. The waitress we had was nice and understanding about the fact that I was hungry. I tend to get a bit snippy when I am hungry. If there were enough employees to work the restaurant properly this place would be great. Thanks to the kind waitress who took care of getting us our orders in a timely manner with a smile.
