European Cafe Schnitzel House

It felt like dining in someone's home, with plenty of personal attention and food made with love! Everything was delicious! The sauerkraut soup was incredible. My dad's veal and bean stew was fantastic. The wiener schnitzel was huge and tasty. And the apple strudel? Absolutely delightful!

The atmosphere is incredibly calm and serene, complemented by attentive and professional staff. The interior of the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. As for the food, it is truly exceptional—unlike anything I've had since childhood at my grandmother's house. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This delightful and charming traditional German restaurant offers a truly spectacular dining experience. The dishes are expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The homemade soups are also a highlight and exceptionally tasty. The restaurant is cozy with limited seating, so it's wise to make a reservation—you won't regret it! My wife and I have visited numerous German restaurants, and this one stands out as one of the very best.

Favorite in Daytona . The ONLY German restaurant to go to! Every year we eat here without disappointment. Quaint and traditional. Excellent service with a smile. Like we are family. Must get a reservation. Highly suggested to call first. I get different dishes every time I come. Many meat dishes, excellent sauerkraut, even the butter for the bread is flavored uniquely. Home made soups, desserts strudel ice cream. I'm excited every time to eat here. So rustic and unique. Must try!

BEST plate for dinner we had in Ormond Beach! We have driven by this place several times and finally decided to take a chance and stop. This converted home to restaurant is quaint and has all the European charm one could want.The host/waiter working on his own is fantastic and attentive! If there is a house special, make sure you order it. We ordered 2 meals, which both came with the soup of the day. Hunting Soup- it was so delicious I hope they make it next time we are in town. For our dinners we ordered Hungarian Goulash with spaetzle and Jaeger Schnitzel with German potato salad. Portions were very generous and easily could have been shared. Make sure you call to make reservations or you won't be able to get in!
