The Cuban bread used for the sandwich is imported from La Segunda Bakery in Tampa. Established in 1915, this bakery has been making Cuban bread using a traditional recipe for over a century, which involves placing a palmetto frond on top of the loaf during baking. Interestingly, the oldest restaurant in Florida is Colombia, located in Ybor City (Tampa), and I must say that the Cuban sandwich at Oceanside surpasses that of Colombia. It's truly that good! A special thanks to our bartender and server, Liz, for her fantastic service, as always! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I was informed a couple of months ago while dining at their Flagler Beach location that this new spot would be opening in July. However, it seems that no renovations are happening at the moment. Perhaps it will be ready by Thanksgiving or Christmas.
This place has the best breakfast! It's dog-friendly, and the food is excellent. The outdoor seating offers a beautiful ocean view, and the owner is very welcoming as she makes her rounds. I absolutely love going there!
I'm really looking forward to its opening!
