We could see several waiters and servers sitting and watching tv. After waiting 20 minutes we had to ask bartender and he send someone over. She took our orders but she is not sure she was our server.
You wouldn't think you would find such a gem in a small town such as ormond beach florida, however Takeya is by far the best hibachi sushi restaurant I have ever been to. This includes all of Florida and any other state I've visited. Go, You won't be disappointed.
I have been a customer for 15 years and every time I visit the Daytona area, it is in my top 3 pics of dining. The staff is tremendously friendly and helpful. The wine sommelier has introduced me to some of the best wines I've ever tasted. I am a sushi snob and I completely trust in the quality and freshness of the fish selections here. It's a must try. The design of the restaurant is a work of art. Don't miss it!
Well-run establishment. Clean, good food, good service. Gorgeous decor. Don't leave without trying the sushi.
Sushi was delicious, but the portions were on the small side. Coming from a land locked state I was expecting larger portions if not the same size) than what is served in Denver for the price.
