Heaven and Earth Restaurant and Bar

Me and a friend visited a couple days ago. Atmosphere was nice and service was great but the food was very bland. I wouldn't recommend it. Their so called "radler" was just beer mixed with sprite. Tasted like flat pop.

The prices were fair, but the food was mediocre. The service was good, especially since we were the only ones there. I don't think I will return.

During our stay at the hotel, we decided to try out the restaurant. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the beer was cold and well-priced. The staff was very attentive and made sure to provide top-notch service.

Heaven and Earth is a German style restaurant with 7 varieties of Schnitzel available on the menu, along with 4 other specialties including Hungarian Goulash and German sausages, and several snacks and appetizers. I had the "Wiener" schnitzel while my wife and sister-n-law ate two different sausage dinners. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress was friendly and very helpful, so all in all, it was a great experience. Entrees range from $10 - $17, so the price is wonderful, too.

Went with another couple. We ordered nachos & French onion soup as appetizers & they were terrible! The soup was covered in Parmesan cheese which took away the flavour of the soup, the nachos were potato chips with a little cheese and cut up tomatoes with a gob of sour cream. We were hoping the German food would be better but the batter used for their schnitzel was also used on their fish. The waitress was very nice & the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Food, nope, won't be back.
