The 2 courses for £15 menu was a good value. delicious fish cake and dessert. I would complain that there would be no drinks menus on the table, so when we ordered prosecco and a red wine, we had no idea what kind we could order, nor the prices. £37.50 for a bottle prosecco is one of the highest I ever bought. big hotels are not so expensive! that brings us definitiv from the return, as this is our drink of choice. I would also like to see a few more meals on the “£15 offer”.
We always enjoy the rose crown, eating is great, the team is fantastic and the ambiente is always good. whether they enjoy the garden in summer or in winter with the fires for a frying cozy, definitiw a great pub and a fortune for the opposite.
Food was lovely, beef was tender and all other items were lush. Puddings fab. Portion size excellent. Perfect location, bang on A21. Was quite expensive though, compared to my local you get a carvery and pudding for £20 and can go up as many times as you like, compared to approx £30 for roast and pud, and not able to go for seconds. But otherwise, no complaints, very satisfied.
Lovely afternoon with my friends, aerobe ans food was great and delicious. Good choice of wines Music was a little loud ans would be more comfortable if it was a little lower
