La taverne du Haut-Koenigsbourg

I had read the mixed reviews, but still decided to give this place an attempt and was not disappointed! My husband and I both thought the food was pretty delicious! We liked how you could see all the dishes, so you knew exactly what you wanted. It's like half a self-service. You choose your dish and dessert in principle if you want (what we also recommend! and you pay at the counter. You'll bring the hot dishes to your place. We both had a local specialty and enjoyed a nice piece of tart (scrapberry for my husband, chocolate for me! Again, the food was delicious. The atmosphere of dinner is really nice and fits the venue a bit back into time! The menu is available on the website of the castle. Only 4 out of 5 stars cause that I think it was a bit expensive overall... but we still enjoyed it.

The restaurant was not so ... the interior was a mix of everything they found. The menu simple and not so tastefull. Friendly service. But its the only restaurant so you stay hungry or...

Visiting the castle makes you hungry i recommend that you either pick up strength in advance or rest your tired bones after the castle

We stopped here for a snack. It was warm and cozy, the wine was good and the soup was delicious and the pie was fresh.

The perfect wine, perfect menu and set up of table. Servers are fast and nice.We loved it and we will be back soon. Very affordable and yummy foods
