Escamilla Amigos - Ortonville

We placed a fairly large order with some custom requests and they were amazing! These were some of the best tacos I had outside San Diego. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, they give decent portion sizes. The woman who took my order was so polite and sweet, she got everything 100% right and even made me smile on a rough day. Very happy with the asada Mexican tacos, pictured on the photo. Perfect ratio of steak to onion and tortilla. Not to mention the homemade tortillas are a masterpiece. In addition, there is a whole children's menu that contains both American and Mexican dishes, whether your child likes tacos, burgers or chicken strips that they will be able to find something they like. I recommend this place to anyone who likes well-balanced and well seasoned food.

Flank steak was not tender at all. Very tough. Food was luke warm.. Ground beef tacos tasted like Taco Bell.

Really good food. Nice and friendly. Good portions. Tamales are wonderful.
