El Charco Azul - Osage Beach

This is the best Mexican food you can find by the lake!

The restaurant wasn't very busy, but unfortunately, the service was quite poor. It took a long time for someone to take our order, our drinks were never refilled, and it took ages to get the check. The food was decent, but nothing special. I would prefer to spend my money at a different place.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

We were seated and our order was taken, but the waitress only returned once. She spent more time attending to other tables than ours. When we asked for the check, her response was that she had other tables to tend to, and she walked away without bringing the check. We ended up going to the checkout, where a man approached us. We explained our disappointing experience, and he said he would speak to her. I mentioned that this is why we didn't leave a tip, as we usually tip well for good service.

Not bad but not good either. Food isn't hot/warm. Comes out really fast so it looks like it's cooked in morning and then they just put it in plate and send it out.
