Michaels Steak Chalet - Osage Beach

Last year we enjoyed michaels for our New Year's Dinner, so we thought we would do it again this year. we have been looking forward to the great food and the service we had previously received to be very disappointed. our service was bad. I am gluten-free and milk-free and the waitress has not even registered this matter when I told her. they brought krutons on my salate after I had not given any gluten. then she also brought out that dessert and put it before me after I had told her again, no milk or gluten. also other members of our groups steaks and chicken entrees were not properly cooked. the chicken was boiled and the steaks were burned outside while they were cold inside. we sent the steaks back, just to have brought them out, not burned, but still raw in the middle. the manager was angry at guests on our table. overall this was a bad experience. not how we wanted to spend our new years eve. and to round it off, it was a set menu so that everything should have been prepared to perfection.

I wasn't happy with my steak. I ordered it medium rare it was raw and cold. the baked potato was very good.

Four of us celebrated 3 b’days 2017. prime rib good. filet very good. both ribeyes were hard. taste good. most of the two home brewed for dogs. so hard she had to cut in small bites also for the small dogs. the waiter did not even ask how it was. it's been a long time since I was there. big mistake. starters baked kartoffel very good. overall, very disappointed. I fell when I left the restaurant. very dark steps that are dangerous. a young man I think was very nice. the restaurant would benefit from more attention to its general culinary experience.

Here is a summer regular. decided to try for Christmas holidays. eat consistently well. they enjoy the indoor Christmas decoration. they love this place, but only eat a little expensive and weep.

The food was delicious! The waitress was apologetic of a very loud crowd behind us, but it did not take away from the wonderful food. Nice place, great service, worth the money.
