Ippudo - Osaka

The English menu is very straightforward to understand. There are booths and also more individualized bar seating options. Baskets are provided for small bags as well. We ordered the regular special (which comes with meat egg seaweed) and the miso special. Both broths were delicious and pork excellently prepared. The egg I had was pretty hard boiled, which I didn't expect, although maybe that's the style they do here. Our potsticker side was really cute each dumpling was so small and soft inside. They provide a variety of seasonings and sauces too, and also a cold tea beverage at each table spot. Great vibe inside, and friendly staff. Would recommend this chain!

It was tasty and the portions were quite big! The fried rice was surprisingly good so I recommend trying that at least in the small portion. Now, the food is a bit oily compared to european cuisine BUT if you're not one to care (or are not sensitive to oil in food) there is literally nothing less-good to say about the food!

Amazing ramen and gyoza! This is my go to when I stop at the Swissotel in Osaka. Flavorful and priced fairly.

Good ramen!!! The staff was friendly and tried to make sure I was ordering what I wanted (I am a non Japanese speaker).

The usual good stuff from Ippudo wherever you are. Arrived at midnight and they're still serving great ramen.
