The Blarney Stone, Umeda - Osaka

Great place for foreigners and Japanese to mix. Excellent atmosphere, good moods, drinks are cheap (good hour before 20:00) and there is a pool table.

You love it or you hate it. Perhaps during the same visit! The staff are fun, helpful and not above climbing onto the counter to demand some attention. A middling range of craft/British beers. Live music is a fun addition, but the venue layout is not really set up for it. Worth a visit when next time you are in the big tako-yaki.

Drinks and atmosphere were good. The food was just ok though. The chicken wings were a bit raw on the inside for my liking. The pizza was the better of the options.

A good place to play pool and have a good dinner, although it is a bar. The owner and the workers are friendly and welcoming.

Irish pub with a good selection of designs beers including Kilkenny. Live music and no door fee. Staff and customers are a mixture of foreign and Japanese. Fast, friendly service.
