It is elaborately decorated in an art deco style playing with electric swings, in accordance with the theme. The bartender was incredibly friendly and polite and the selection of cocktails was overwhelming. There was also a winter menu, hot drinks such as spicy hot chocolat (to try on my list of things!). Our drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was relaxed. They also serve some food when you feel delicious.
I came to an engagement party and everything was great for us. Good drinks, great music and atmosphere and a friendly staff. It's a much western atmosphere when you get other places in Japan, so if that's what you're looking for, this place will be your alley.
Wish we had 'The Suite' in Australia absolutely love this event 1920's New York decor combined with fantastic entertainment. Great hosts.
Really nice event. Great ambience and drinks. Fair prices and first-class live performance!!! the bar owners are really friendly. Would definitely come back. There is a cover fee for the live show (not advertised) 850Yen per person.
Came here looking for a Jazz Bar... this one isn't one anymore, but you can tell it was one by the cool decor. Instead, my group and I were welcomed by the screeching sounds of someone singing karaoke horribly too close to the mic. After ordering drinks, I hurriedly queued a song and sang those guys outta there. It was a Friday night during Obon vaca it was just my group, one couple, and an old Japanese guy in the whole place. Had a really nice time singing karaoke to my hearts content. the previously mentioned old Japanese guy was cheering one guy in our group whenever he sang, and by cheering i mean woo-ing and clapping, getting really into it. It was very entertaining. And when it was his turn to sing, he didn't let his old man smoker's throat stop him from belting out mostly indecipherable English tunes. My group ended up staying till closing (1AM). It was a blast. One star off because it's not a jazz bar my experience probably couldn't be replicated. No cover for foreigners or Japanese women. Japanese men i think have a 1000 yen cover.
