One of the only places in the opposite to get vegan food, so I am not too surprised that the reviews are as high as they are. some vegans will eat everything if it’s their only option around. I will give a disclaimer that this review comes from an experience I had just before the pandemic, so it is not extremely new and it is possible that they have improved since then. I still want to share the experience because it is so incredible. my mother and I stopped here before I went to a concert, it was dinner, but completely empty when we came in. eating did not take time, which was good, because we were on a timetable, but also to ask me how she could make two full meal times that quickly without a shortcut. eating itself was just not good. it was understated, almost sample-like tasting, little taste and the presentation, to be honest, was terrible. the whole meal was extremely underwhelming, but we didn't really want to say anything because we were in a hurry, we just wanted to feed us. but that was not important because the owner (the obsession it was the owner) stood at the theke all the time eating only watching and listening to our conversation. they began to ask what was wrong with eating and when we told her that it wasn't good, she began to defensiw and tell us that it was supposed to be like that, and we never had any complaining before us and treated us as if we didn't know what we were talking about. it was just from a gordon ramsay kitchen nightmares episode. the funny thing is that I am a cook, I am through years of cooking school and worked in kitchens so that I did know how to taste and prepare food and that was not it. this is the most negative evaluation I had to post over a restaurant, but at the time of the incident it looked like I wasn't the only one who has been through this situation. the Google reviews share all similar incidents and the owners replier were just as defensiw as they were in person. one of them said the pommes were boiled and fat and the owners was answer that sometimes the pommes are big and sometimes they are fat, it is an attempt and mistake." do not put it on the menu if they can't always do it like every time. Hopefully the owner has grown up and the customers stay happy.

I was looking forward to her food. but it was such a disappointment! Sausages were hard and carrots tasted sweet. there is also no salt in their food. salate were fresh and therefore 3 stars.

Everything I had was fresh and tasted good. pot pie was good and fish n chips!

Such a lovely healthy menu!! I enjoyed chatting with the owner and chef.Vety friendly people.Loved their soups,mac and cheese,sandwhich and vegan cupcakes..All were yummy!!
