She liked it though. The cheese is shredded cheese on the burger and its not really melted. That turned me off from liking it. I would only order a Greek dish from here as the Gyro was excellent.
I (and others) always order the Banquet Burger combo and I am never disappointed. It always tastes the same and is quick to order. The fries are a nice cut and also fresh, hot and a perfect outer crisp. I would definitely recommend Mr. A's Quick Flame for lunch or dinner. I have never been for breakfast.
For a satisfying breakfast option, consider trying the garden omelette at this restaurant. They generously load it up with vegetables and cheese. Their fries and gravy are also delicious, although the chip truck fries are a standout. While the atmosphere is not overly fancy, the establishment is clean and the service is consistently attentive.
I am not sure if this restaurant is still open, but they have not been open during their posted business hours. The last time I tried to go was on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I arrived at 9:30, but the door was locked and the restaurant was dark, even though the sign said they opened at 8:00. This has happened once before a couple of weeks ago as well. I will not be returning again. It is a shame!
I used to frequent this restaurant with coworkers a few years ago and always enjoyed the food, pricing, and service. However, my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered my usual burger platter and a coke, but was disappointed to find that the burger patty seemed smaller than advertised and the bun was extremely hard. Previously, the bun used to be buttered and grilled, but not anymore. The burger itself was overcooked and dry, as were the fries. Despite the restaurant not being busy, with only one other table occupied, I now understand why. I will not be returning.
