I had a coupon for a free vanilla soft serve cone. my friend got a cone, can of soda and a small fry. The fries were a bit thinner than I'm used to with chip trucks but I liked them better! The food was delicious, the prices are low and I will be back to try the funnel cake! They do Poutine and extreme fries which have cheese, sour cream and chives. They were busy and have a couple of picnic tables outside for eating. They have a Facebook page. They will remain open until October 31st and seem to close about 8pm each night right now.
Rachel's chops and cones is the best around. We get the family fries all the time. He has the best pouting also. And I LOVE the extreme fries too.
Most amazing milkshakes ever made. Hot dogs are to die for. I'm a picky eater and this place gets a 10/10 from me.
Most people read and probably think.."How can someone rate a Chip Truck"? I get it! I really do.. but unless you have actually been there, then it's very hard not too!The food is incredible, especially coming from a chip truck and trust me how you wouldn't even notice if it weren't for the Orange Truck ;)Delicious Burgers, Amazing Poutine, and come on.. what truck offers HUGE sundaes and Funnel Cakes for Dessert?? The menu is BIG and so is the quantity! Trust me..if you around South Oshawa, then please take your family to Rachel's Chip Truck, service is FAST and always with a smile. My family and I go here on a regular and take our diner to the lake, sit and enjoy it!Go Go!~KT xo
The guy who owns this truck (or at least runs it every summer) is wonderful. He's friendly, fast and just very personable. If he doesn't make the trip worth it, the food sure will! Idk what it is, but it's just so good! There isn't much to say about being healthy at a chip truck, but for a treat, it's worth it 100%
