Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Yesterday, instead of cooking after my mother's passing, my family decided to get Swiss Chalet takeout. We ordered the family pack with all dark meat from the Oshawa location. Despite confirming multiple times that we wanted all dark meat, our order was not fulfilled correctly. When we contacted the manager, we were told that all dark family packs were no longer available, even though our receipt and the order taker had confirmed it. The manager, Raymond, was unhelpful and suggested that we drive back to get the correct order, even though it would have made the rest of our meal cold and prevented us from eating together. This lack of customer service was disappointing and it seems that Swiss Chalet could benefit from better training for their employees. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from, so it's important to remember the impact of word of mouth reviews.

My group of seven people had an excellent experience at this restaurant. Our server Tim provided quick and professional service. The food was delicious and served hot, even the mashed potatoes were warm. I highly recommend this place to Sue and her friends.

I had a terrible experience at Swiss Chalet today. My family has been going there for over 40 years, but after today, I will never eat there again, even if it was free. I hope this place goes out of business. In my opinion, they do not care about their customers. They did not even have their phone number on the receipt. I will never go back.

Was very disappointed at the condition of this restaurant. Most places now have installed plexiglass to separate booths but this place was just spacing everyone. I guess they arent anticipating a full house. When I suggested we move tables because of the large spider and web in the light above the table the waitress decided to use napkins to remove it instead. Fortunately it didnt fall on the table but did fall on the floor. We mentioned we were there celebrating my gradson's birthday, although not until tomorrow, she wouldn't give us the kids eat free on their birthday deal. I figured between the spider and the birthday that something should have been done.

Bought 2 dinners . Added a slice of pie. Paid 4.25 for the pie. Imagine a slice of pie where the size was of 1 ketchup package long and one ketchup packet at widest point . Cashier says the is the standard pre-cut size. Never again.
