The Jube Pub Patio - Oshawa

The food was decent—the burger was tasty, but the bungalow was a bit soggy. However, I would definitely return with my family because the service and the view are outstanding! My 90-year-old parents hadn't eaten out since before COVID and were feeling anxious, but our server, May, was incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful, making the evening feel like a five-star experience.

We dined at The Jube last Wednesday, August 3rd, for a quick dinner with a stunning view of the summer lake. Our server, Danielle, suggested the Bacon Cheeseburger and Jube Poutine, and it was an incredible meal! Danielle was both friendly and personable while remaining efficient. The dinner was fantastic, and her service was outstanding. We regret not being able to stay for the live music, but we will definitely return!

This is a wonderful spot by the lake. My server, Brayden, was fantastic—he had a great personality and was really amusing. The manager was also present at one point, and it was clear that the staff respected him. I would definitely recommend this place. The food and drinks were good, and the staff was exceptional.

Decided to make the long hike from Pickering to dinner and take a few drinks. The view from the terrace was of water, fields, playground etc. the terrace was nice, but with a few wobbly tables. We decided to order the “Italian” theme menu that went on at the time. We ordered the meat lovers pizza with Alfredo sauce base instead of traditional Marinara and a few pictures of beer. The pizza wasn't so great, but even bad pizza is still good. Solid 4.9 of 10. The beer wasn't as cold as I would like, and it was a little flat. Maybe you ask why 4/5 stars? Honestly, it started to rain, and the staff was super courtesy and tried to cover us with parasols and make sure we were dry and comfortable. Even a guy from behind in the house (must have been the owner? was super cool and helpful. I'm sure I'd have drinks back here.

First of all, Google Maps sent us to the wrong location. We didn’t drive all the way there or course since we knew we were going to a patio near the water and Google wanted us to go to a subdivision...... make sure you head down toward the water however. Not a bad place to go grab a quick bite and a drink. We were on the patio to try enjoy the last days of heat this year. Food was quick and decent tasting. Definitely good for the price! Very inexpensive place. Couple of drinks, some wings and We were good to go. Cheap wings on a Friday too! Not too shabby.
