Staff were very welcoming and we were able to order right away. Nobody else came in while our order was prepared.Me and daughter both had the Mon-Fri 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. lunch special: 6 oz. burger with fries and pop for $6.95 plus tax.As with several other burger places, the bun (which was a tad on the stale side and not toasted) dwarfed the patty. The patty was a little charred from the grill, overcooked and dry without much flavour. Great choice of toppings.Fries were fresh cut and crispy. Not a bad deal if burgers had been cooked properly.
The handmade burger reminds me of what my father used to grill on the BBQ. It is thick and juicy, nicely spiced and with a wonderful array of toppings; you will want to try them all. The buffalo sauce on the wings were a treat since most restaurants in the area don't offer it. Hot on the tongue without the sweetness of BBQ. Give it a try!
I have been here like a few times I can't get enough their burgers their 8 ounce burgers are the best. I had the sweet potato fries their their epic.
When The Patty Shack first opened I was a regular customer as we got to know the original owner. Sadly since he sold the place its not the same. While the burgers are still very flavorful and the topping choices excellent, the staff(or owners) no seem to care how the place actually looks. We went on a Saturday and while the place was empty, it looked like a tornado went through it. The staff didn't seem to care or certainly were not in any hurry to clean up. A shame as again the food is still great tasting...
