Whisky John's Bar and Grill - Oshawa

I have been a patron of this restaurant for years, but lately, the quality has severely declined. Tonight's experience was particularly awful. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, even though customers who came after us were being served before us. When we inquired about the delay, we were told that a dinner party was the cause. My child's wrap was so greasy that he couldn't even eat it, despite the server's explanation that it was due to gravy which was not even on the plate. The service was terrible, and despite the promise to comp our meal, they failed to do so and even argued with me about it. This was the last straw for me, and I will not be returning. I do not recommend this restaurant to others. (Note: The server attempted to contact the management multiple times without any response).

The coconut curry was lackluster and tasted like leftovers, while the mushy rice and undressed salad further detracted from the overall dining experience.

I suffered from severe food poisoning after eating the chicken jambalaya. I have serious doubts about the restaurant's food safety practices and procedures in the kitchen.

They had bartenders in training they could not make a old-fashioned a buddy had to go in an show them how the bar didn't even have simple syrup... had to use a bit of jack Daniel's honey as a substitute.. the server was awesome and very kind.

Hollow mozzarella sticks, decent wings and delivery issues.I normally don 't write reviews for food places but I have a lot to say about this place. Their wings are decent, they used to be my favourite though recently the wings were small. I always order delivery and my mozzarella sticks literally had no cheese inside, I 'm not joking...really upsetting when you spend so much to get food delivered just to go to waste. Had to order again somewhere else. Also had multiple issues trying to get my food to me, my skip/uber drivers would put delivered and multiple times there was nothing outside. So I don 't know what that 's about but I normally don 't have that issue with other places so it must be a restaurant issue.
