Mineshaft Oshkosh

My picture doesn't do the poutine justice, this plate is LOADED with well seasoned fries and cheese curds topped with gravy. One thing I noticed is that their portions are humongous, most of us took leftovers. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. On top of that, the bartenders were fairly nice and the games were amazing. My one complaint was that the people at the entrance were not so friendly, which put me in a bad mood upon arriving but was later redeemed by everyone else. Not a good way to start the evening.

Food excellent, service phenomenal! This place is sooo cool. From the game room, the food and the service, I will be back. I however don?t care for the city of Oshkosh. The customers were kinda rude. Had a weird altercation with a customer. Just trying to enjoy dinner on my birthday. Other then that I?ll probably just get takeout next time.

Ate here a few times prior and had a good experience. Friendly atmosphere and staff members. I like the inside design, makes you feel like you're around a mineshaft. Very cool good sized game room for the kid in you, oh and your children too ????!! Food was good and full filling. Menu prices were reasonably average ????????. Will go back again next time I'm in the area.

Huge place with an enormous assortment of various games, and seating capacity seem to be around five or 600 people. On Friday we had to wait about 30 minutes and there doesn?t appear to be a waiting area. So we just stood around. I guess the management hope you go in and play a few games while you?re waiting but we were not interested in that. After being seated we had good service from Nolan who took our drink orders and then our dinner orders. Mac cheese with broccoli and chicken was tasty although grilled chicken was not freshly grilled but probably reheated either from pre-frozen or premade. It was cheesy and tasty though. My friend ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and onion straws and he was satisfied with the flavor and tenderness of the steak. The house salad was what you would expect in the ranch dressing accented it nicely. They had a buy one get one free for dessert and my friend ordered cheesecake and I ordered blueberry pie. The pie was previously frozen and still cold and would?ve benefited from being heated. The taste was not very palatable and I do not recommend the blueberry pie. It was a little noisy in the main dining room but I was able to understand all that was said without any problems. Maybe worth a return visit to check out their pizzas which of course we did not try. They do have Sprechers root beer on tap though which is better than your standard fair root beer.

Pretzel was good but the cheese dip for it was not really something you could dip in. Pizza was pretty darn good. Games were fun. We had the copper room for a bday party. Service was very good and the space was comfortable.
