Contribuisci feedbackAs someone who typically doesn't enjoy Japanese cuisine, I was not initially excited about dining at Alex Sushi for a work dinner. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and atmosphere. Each dish on the tasting menu was both intriguing and delicious. I will definitely return when I am in Oslo next. The artwork on the walls added to the cool vibe of the restaurant.
This restaurant is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar. The prices are reasonable for Japanese food, especially considering it is in Norway. I'm not sure why it is labeled as a four-dollar sign restaurant on Google, as it is in line with the prices of other restaurants in Oslo. The service was excellent and attentive, and there was a good variety of options on the menu.
My first experience at Alex Sushi Soli was enjoyable. There were many interesting options on the menu. However, the service was slow. The staff was nice, but we had to wait with empty plates and glasses before someone noticed. It was a not so busy Monday. I liked the location, with tables around the kitchen like a sushi bar, but there was no proper ventilation and our clothing ended up smelling like frying oil. In conclusion, I found it to be overrated and overpriced with limited options for a romantic dining experience.
I am obsessed with Alex sushi. I will probably go bankrupt now I realized they deliver home. But I will go down happy.
I don't know what it is with oslo and sushi rice. I've never had perfect texture, perfectly sticky, perfectly sour sushi rice in oslo. alex sushi.
