Surprisingly tasty food, enormous portions. It’s a “brown pub” with lots of regulars, but its also a great place to sit and watch life go past in the very busy intersection. Fairly priced food and drinks. Apo does table service if he has the capacity, but most often easiest is to just pop in to the bar, and you’ll be well taken care of.

Decent waiting spot close to bus and metro on busy Carl Berner. Large tables are a plus if you're looking to fit in some work on a laptop. Kitchen opens at 11 and offers a variety of sandwiches and simple cafe style dishes. The selection prior to this is a bit too limited in my view, they offered only scones (albeit rather good ones) on the day of my most recent visit. I think it would be an idea to offer some bread and buns and some jam or cheese for the sub-500calories-set.

Cozy and quiet place. Good coffee. Staff is always very welcoming and pleasant, and thankfully there is a lack of loud hipsters around. Great for a quick beer or coffee or for longer stays.
