Bologna Cafe - Osprey

We were not sure because it had changed owners, but we were excited to have another wonderful experience here. The food was delicious. The staff was attentive. And it made for a glorious night. This is a place to visit. And Sophia is very helpful to help you make suggestions. We will recommend this to all our Florida friends. !

The couple who bought the place failed as I expected. The original owners have it back and it is again WONDERFUL! The cook and most, if not all, waiters are back. returned for the second time; it is one of the best if not the best restaurant in Sarasota County. Very authentic Nordic Italian cuisine cooked for perfection. Well-trained waiting staff and very friendly atmosphere combined with exquisite food. Excellent!

Original owners are indeed back and it is great again! For those who had the unfortunate experience with the second set of owners, PLEASE NOT leave their menu, prices and settings affect your willingness to come back now. All original staff and kitchen are back – the food is wonderful, the service is great and the ambience and the speciality have returned. Original menu back in place and the food case is again full of all wonderful meat and vegetables for which Bologna Cafe was known. We had a group of 6 — all hope that the rumors of the original owners were true again. Sure, we went into the door and greeted everyone - it was like coming home. We learned that they are only 4 weeks back, so we were so happy that we could enjoy the original café before some of our friends came back to the north for the summer. The Amuse Bouche was back and as great as ever. The wonderful appetizers were equally well remembered, and the fabulous entrees were just as good - if not better - when we all remembered us, the service was friendly and attentive, and the owners often came to ensure that all of the tables were happy and enjoy their meals. The dessert and after dinner drinks menu was also again and as delicious as ever. Since we come back, there are even some extra small touches that we have all noticed that add even more specialty to the cafe. While we were sad, the original owners had not returned earlier (and left before most snow birds), we are happy to enjoy the *real* Bologna Cafe that we all love.

This restaurant is my number one. Of all the restaurants, I know I like it most. I always suggest my friends visit this place. Whenever I need a good meal, this restaurant will come to me right away. Large and varied food and a large menu.professional team and pleasant ambience. Not less important, the costs are good. I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.

For me, the Bologna Cafe is a place to go for a special night. I couldn't afford it very often, but for the infrequent special event, its perfect. They consistently have friendly helpful service, fresh delicious and authentic Italian food and a warm, welcoming environment. My wife and I celebrated my birthday here this year and it was amazing. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to eat there again.
