Ecocafeet - Ostersund

We went after a long journey there for a simple lunch. Unfortunately, the waiter said they don't have everything on the menu. after that it was not much to choose. but I'll give it another chance. the caffe looks great and the smoothies I think are very good. all ecological. there they can also buy organic products. you can sit outside or inside.

Ecocafeet is a rather unlikely place in östersund. it has the great city vibe, a great selection of organic food and drink. at the entrance there is also a bio-shop. it is not on the cheaper side when it comes to simple things, but. the quality is high. a very pleasant place and in the did a hidden gem, because it is hard to miss out on the outside.

This is a great place for everyone craving some nutritious food caring about health. Organic, no refined sugars, mostly vegan, gluten free.. Well, the whole lot. The menu is somewhat limited in terms of food. But, since the name claims the place to be a...Café rather than restaurant I guess that will not disappoint anyone. There's lots and lots of raw cakes and sweets. I had the vegan Hippie Salad. Filling and really tasty. A bit of a let down that the soup of the day was sold out at 13.00 already and that the vegan pie was frozen and would take 15 min to prepare. I take it then it's heated in microwave which is uncool to me. Anyways, all in all a great place with the right focus! Let food be thy medicine!!!

Very good vegan eating! saved the rainy day! the atmosphere is very cozy, but not tired, otherwise they will sleep
