My husband got the fried catfish and it was thin, crispy and great. We are on our way to New Orleans and this was a great lunch to start our trip off.
I was very hungry so the food was ok. I had the seafood platter oysters were hard but partially my fault as I asked for crispy. Catfish is very thin was more like crunchy fish chips. Cajun tater salad? Well it tasted like it was just eggs potatoes, no pickles, mayo, mustard, etc. but I'm taking it home to add those things to it so I can have a snack before bed. The grilled shrimp were ok but very small. The sweet tea is very good. The boiled corn was actually the best thing there. But I was ready for something different. It filled the spot.
Nice relaxed atmosphere.. folks are nice and the shrimp are great..
I'm from South Louisiana and this place is as close to bayou cooking as you can get in the country. Food was great, prices are very reasonable for fresh seafood. Mrs. Cheryl stopped by our table and visited with us. Highly recommend this place.
