Yamadaya - Otaru

If you want to taste the real Japanese cuisine, that is the one! Everything is fresh and delicious. Great drinks at a reasonable price. We were welcome and friendly hosts. The only thing is that there is no English menu for foreigners, so we need to use google translators to make orders that took a long time to do, but we have not noticed it at all because it is the most amazing and wonderful culinary experience we have ever had.

Cozy izakaya under the train. Regular u will hear the sound of the train. Local crowd. Great experience, nice service. Very recommended

Love the food and owners are very friendly! They only speak Japanese but they have a boy who speaks minimal English. Everything we ordered is really yummy! It’s a local go-to for izakaya. Highly recommend this place if you are in Otaru!
