Anne's Hideaway - Ottawa

Loved this place we were staying at starved rock and this place is close by. I got the fried chicken which was outstanding and hubby got the prime rib which he said was very good. Service was amazing!

Older quaint place with great food and great service. Highly recommended.

Never again. Went for my 60th birthday. Way disappointed in the food. Lasagna was made from egg noodles, NO red sauce in between. Not sure what type cheese was inside. Almost like Alfredo . My first bite of noodles tasted like seafood. Not sure what happened to this place, it used to be great years ago. It’s been over 5 yrs since I’ve gone and was looking forward it. I learned today, none of us, 12, liked what we ordered. Plain, bland, blah! Sad. Wheelchair accessibility: My son was able to enter and be seated accordingly. My daughter had made the reservations and they put us RIGHT NEXT to another Party! A surprise party. It was stuffy and no air flow. Service was slow also.

The food was excellent, and our bartender and waitress made my wife's birthday dinner special. Thank you, Annie's Hideaway, for another fantastic meal!

Worst service this night. Also food wasn't that great either. Not the Annie's I remember
