Thai Cafe - Ottawa

Great location in downtown Ottawa!! The thai tea is phenomenal as well as the pad thai and pineapple fried rice. Definitely a staple for me!

We've tried this place 4 or 5 times. My extended family loves Thai and we love to order takeout when they visit. The noodle dishes, like pad Thai and pad see ewe, were pretty darn good here.The reason for 3 stars is the curry. Good curry dishes are what REALLY makes a Thai restaurant stand out to me. Here, the curry is just not that good. Not bad, but bland and lacking spice. We have tried most of the varieties on the menu, and have been equally as disappointed with all of them. It's weird how little curry flavor they actually had, it was like a splash of curry paste with water and fish sauce. So, we won't be ordering that again. Maybe the noodle dishes, but I feel like the Thai food experience isn't complete without a great curry!

Visiting from out of town and the reviews looked decent but this was just really bad. The food tasted like they used store bought bottled sauce, and food didn’t seem fresh.
