I love going to City at Night for a night out. The atmosphere is always lively and the people are in good spirits, unlike some of the clubs downtown where everyone seems sad and desperate. The crowd is respectful, the music is great, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bartenders are friendly and genuine. The venue itself is aesthetically pleasing. Parking is usually easy to find on the street within a few blocks. It's the most parking-friendly option for clubbing downtown, especially if you don't want to pay for expensive parking garages in Byward Market.

Pretax 8 dollar shot on a Tuesday is exorbitant. 1 cocktail 6 shots came out to be $93. Ridiculous. Cocktails need to improve to justify the prices. I hope they invest in the sound system more, perhaps function 1.
