Thai Express Ottawa

Ordered the chicken pad Thai. Was disappointed to see the takeout container only 3/4 full. The former owners and any other location always stuffs the container. Was a little on the dry side too.

Dark and rundown. Service is painfully slow. In the time it takes them to make a simple dish you could have sat down in a restaurant and gotten table service.

Not sure what happened to the old owners or managers but I think ownership changed. New staff it seems, I don't see the elderly chinese could who used to run the shop.Flavors and quality have dropped, and it was not very good. When I brought the issue of the undercooked noodles and stale chicken to the male manager, he shrugged it off and said they only serve good food. Bad service.

Co-worker bought food and due to packaging malfunction half the food fell out, when the store was informed of this to receive some sort of accommodation but there was no appropriate accommodations given. It seems management outside this store is attending to the matter now.
