Bert's - Ottawa Canada

We were seated promptly, but the service was quite slow; at one point, we felt like we had been forgotten. The only bright spot was that when our server did come by, she was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I wouldn't consider returning, as it used to be much better.

My wife and I recently dropped our daughters off at the Carrie Underwood concert and had a couple of hours to kill while waiting for them. We enjoyed a couple of beers and shared a plate of nachos, and the staff kindly let us stay during that time. The nachos were quite delicious, but unfortunately, they didn't have any draft beer available due to the hockey strike.

I visited Bert's Bar before a concert and found the experience to be just okay. The service was decent, meeting only the basic expectations. The food came out quickly, but both my husband and I found our meals to be a bit underwhelming. I ordered the All-Star Burger, which had a stale bun and flavorless meat (considering it’s supposed to be charbroiled). My husband tried the smoked meat, and unfortunately, it lacked flavor as well. If the service had been exceptional, we might have been more inclined to give a higher rating. Overall, it was an average restaurant with average service and average food.

At least it is better than the one in Barbados-the benefit to this one is that they don 't have Bert Inniss here-he is so rude but I guess in Barbados he thinks he is a star,alot smaller place where he thinks he shines!-he needs to think again. Prices are a little steep, food is typical roadhouse fare-sorry to say I wouldn 't go back.
