The wings and calamari were generous in size. The poutine was mediocre. On Tuesdays, they offer a special on wings.
Wonderful wings and fabulous beer, a big brunch and beautiful servers. I've been here for years as it has a wonderful terrace inside the Fifth Avenue Court building. This is the key, because it was the only place where I could take my children when they were small and also my friends could enjoy lunch or brunch on the terrace. Because if my children finished their food, they would go to the court and play. They turned out pretty well so my parents and restaurants are both great.
The service was good. He was waiting for our food for about 20 minutes. As they named their burgers after First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fourth Ave (the road in which they are located). I was satisfied with my order of a simple burger who came with half-fries and half-salat. Pretty good. Best sweet potato fries I've ever tried! It is a beautiful, cozy place. Outdoor seating and a bar. I personally liked that there was another place outside the restaurant in Plaza, a safe place on rain and snow.
After a disappointing experience at another bar in Lansdowne on Friday, my girlfriend and I decided to try Arrow and Loon down the street, and I wish we had gone there first. We were welcomed warmly by incredibly friendly staff right from the beginning. The food was satisfying, especially considering the prices. I ordered the daily special, a chicken fajita wrap, and enjoyed a house beer. Personally, I would have preferred to see more stouts or porters on the menu, but I understand that it may not be the season for those types of beers. Overall, it was a pleasant meal and definitely worth a visit.
