Bâton Rouge Steakhouse Ottawa

I don’t usually leave reviews because I believe everyone is allowed a bad day however I have twice now been in the mood for Baton Rouge and ordered it on Uber Eats where it has been listed as available and twice have had my order unexpectedly cancelled by the restaurant with no explanation given. I’m pissed.

Large burgers, club sandwich and great salad. Several types of featured poutine, such as lobster. Located close to the Westin hotel. Good place to eat when you are looking for something quick, filling and off the tourist path.

Not a good experience from start to finish. Large family group of 11. Fifty percent of meals were well below expectations.

I had a great meal with my fiancé and the environment was nice. The staff seemed irritated, but I can understand as it was busy. The price was on the higher side, but I still would recommend checking this place out. My burger was delicious!

I ordered a burger and fries. When I received it it was supposed to be cut in half. The sandwich was not cut in half all the way and when I grabbed it, it fell apart. There was too much sauce and it was disgusting. I asked the server to redo the burger properly and then she challenged me asking why it was not done properly. She didn't agree with my answer so she went back asked the owner of the restaurant to come out. He proceeded to tell me I could not talk to his girls like that then asked how they could have done the burger better I told him and he challenged me very aggressively saying this is the way we do it. I told him to forget it and that I didn't want any of his food. I said we'll be leaving after my wife has eaten and he said please do. First of all who the hell does he think he is speaking to a customer like that and secondly thinking that his employees are his girls is very sexist. Never will I eat in that hole again! Disgusting place!
