Brown Loaf Bakery - Ottawa

The owner of the restaurant was very welcoming and lovely! We sampled the scones, cookies, brownie, and cinnamon roll, all of which were homemade and delicious. I would highly recommend this bakery.

While i visited ottawa in july 2024 we came to this bakery most mornings! Delicious croissants chocolate croissants. Always baked fresh right in of you in the morning ! Such a sweet owner and so humble even though so talented!! So happy to support his business. Croissants so fresh, buttery and the best in ottawa !

Lovely bakery with very reasonable prices and a super friendly atmosphere. Recently had a chocolate apple cake slice and a peanut butter cookie (both amazing).

A cozy bakery with a very friendly owner: I got a sourdough loaf that he offered to cut (the slices are perfect!! and it came out warm. The inside was incredibly soft but the crust had a nice crunch. Would be The only downside was that there was no tip option on the machine and I didn't have change on me. Will definitely be going again!!

Wonderful hidden gem! I visited 2 weeks ago (from France/germany), and was delighted to find this baker making many traditional French recipes (great gâteau basque, croissants), and delicious sourdough bread. The baker himself is also so friendly and kind, talking to him put me in a great mood. Thank you for your great food and warm service, will definitely return next trip! ??
