Craft Beer Market - Ottawa

"CRAFT" - or at least a recycled variation on it - seems to be popping up like the now ubiquitous "the Works" burger chain, which is bittersweet to me. Don't get me wrong, over 100 draft beer choices and a vast, quality menu are great, but they tend to start feeling too common.The service was attentive enough for our large group (8 adults, 2 small children); the food was good, as in pub food with a twist; beer choices are truly overwhelming (in a good way!)The service could have been a little swifter and when we asked for a patio table the hostess told us the weather was preventing seating outside, yet 10 minutes later it was virtually clear and the patio was packed!Regardless, worth a visit especially if you're going to an event at Landsdowne, which is literally just upstairs from "Craft."

We arrived early. This place went from quiet to madhouse very quickly due to the football game but the staff team handled it well. The beer choice is excellent and the food at our table ranged from excellent to so-so. My dish was delicious. I also like the size of this large establishment and the open concept design to the place. Can't wait to go back!

I was impressed with the gluten free options. Everything we ordered was good and well presented. There were great appetizers that were plentiful and good.The boulonnaise was hearty and good. Great tacos with beef or fish.Desserts were big enoug for two to share.So many beers and the service was excellent with a good knowledge of each.Service very good, patio space.

Its Huge in there. I hear it can accomodate over 500 people. We were there before a Red blacks game for something quick to eat before the game and its ssoooo busy. But we got a table we waited maybe 20 mins. We got the barrel of Nachos with chicken...it was lacking flavour but eatable. Theres many varieties of beer. Great experience. Would return for lunch or dinner to try out something else on the menu. Service was good.

This is the second time that I've visited this place and I love it. We enjoyed the sampler flights which were predetermined local and international selections. I still can't get over the choice on tap. The menu categorizes the beers into easy to identify styles. The food was good, the power salad I had was quite a nice surprise. It was a Tuesday night, yet still quite packed, so a popular place. We will definitely return.
