I could try it again if I'm in the opposite, but I won't go out of that.
I was very disappointed with both the pad thai and the service at this restaurant. I ordered the shrimp pastry and received a plate of overcooked noodles with rubbery shrimp, not much else on the plate. It was too spicy for my liking, I wish I had asked about the spice level beforehand. Unfortunately, no one checked in on us during our meal, even though there were only 4 people in the restaurant. I had to ask twice for more water. In hindsight, I should have ordered the pho instead.
I ordered the chicken pad Thai and beef curry. Why does everything have to be so spicy? Saturday evening dinner at home turned into a disaster because we couldn't even eat it. If they use a lot of spicy ingredients in their dishes, they should mention it on their website. Not everyone enjoys such spicy food. This will be the last time I order from this place.
The service at this restaurant is poor, with the cashier forgetting orders and not providing good customer care. I would recommend trying Pho 99 at 120 Lebreton St N instead. The cooks here make customers wait and do not seem to care about it. It seems like they have the mentality that people in Vietnam are used to waiting.
Grabbed some vermicelli with a side of rice wrap. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone. *be aware that peanuts are used in its recipes*
