Gogiya Korean Fried Chicken Dolsot

The chicken was good, but it didn't quite justify the price.

I have dined at this restaurant several times in the past. However, I've encountered an issue when ordering through Uber Eats: my two 8-piece orders only included 7 pieces each time. So, during my next visit, I decided to order for pickup to find out what was going on and to ensure I received the full 8 pieces. I explained the situation to the person taking my order and requested that they make sure I get all 8 pieces. She informed me that their supplier only provides half wings, which is why they serve 7 pieces instead. I believe they should update their advertising for this item, as they charge customers per piece while paying their supplier by weight. This feels misleading. For instance, an original crispy order costs $41, which breaks down to $5 per piece! I recommend that others double-check their orders too.

This is a fantastic spot for enjoying Korean fried chicken with friends or for takeout! Even in generous portions, the chicken isn't overly greasy and won't make you feel weighed down. This is the real KFC! The seafood pancake is equally delicious.

The Gamjatang is amazing! Lots of pork bones and great flavour. The place is small but service and food is pretty good. The bento boxes are good value with plenty of satisfying items and the bibimbap is on point.
