Island Flava - Ottawa

I had the chicken curry roti platter. It was a whole lot of tasty food for a great price! The chicken was tender and tasty. As far as sides go, the plantains were especially delicious! I'll be getting extra of those next time for sure!

Absolutely awful place! Their evening staff think it's acceptable to throw buckets of water on people outside their restaurant! I recommend everyone stay far away from Island Flava.

It isn't five star dining but the food is excellent. There are only a few tables to eat in but if you are looking to ick up a bite to eat and love Caribbean food stop by and enjoy the music while you wait.

They are located on the same strip mall as A2Z Cellular Repair, love the music and the food! feels like you are eating in the Caribbean loved it!

In the shadow of the Rideau Centre on the Ottawa U side of the Canal and steps from Rideau street is a little gem of a quick serve Caribbean style food. There's a few tables to sit at but it's mainly a take-out restaurant. I tried the Goat Curry Roti (ordered spicy of course) and was impressed by the overall taste. The service was fast and friendly so it gets my enthusiastic two thumbs up rating. I WILL be back!
