Karara The Indian Takeout - Ottawa

Great pies and great customer service. I forgot to order 3 mall bottles of water to go with my pies and returned to get some. The owner gave them to me for free. I was very impressed.

I like that the dough is very thin compared to other places where the dough is so thick I can barely chew it.But I can't taste the akkawei in the pie.This was my first time ordering from this place and I'm not impressed at the quantity I received.Not sure if it's the normal amount of akkawei they use or I got unlucky today!?

Everything about this place is awesome. The always smiling owner, the pictures on the wall, the smell of the food, the desert options winking at you on the bar!But, of course you go there for the food! God they are good bakers. All the options are delicious. I prefer the za’atar containing ones but all the veggie options and curry ones are a must try.
