Unless you are familiar with the area, you may have a little trouble finding this charming little restaurant. The decor is pleasing and the service is attentive. The pastas are well prepared, and the veal is very good. The pizza is a pleasant surprise.
Stopped by for a late lunch during a getaway weekend. Surprised by small, but interesting and very affordably priced menu. Service was attentive and food was so good, we returned a few days later for dinner! Will definitely come back next time we're in town!
We stopped here for a late lunch. I had the mushroom flatbread. Lots of mushrooms, spinach and hummus. I would never have thought to put hummus on a flatbread but it works. My husband had the French onion grilled cheese which was yummy. If the weather is nice, opt for the back patio. Very good service. Definitely recommend.
I have missed coming to this local establishment for years.! (Just recently discovered how amazing this place still is).! The Brig Pub is an excellent place for food and/or just drinks! I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy! I'm a local and this is my favorite go-to spot in Ottawa! The service is always friendly and so professional! The food is plentiful and way better than the average pub grub! And the price is right!!!My hard earned money is always well spent here. You can sit on the front patio or the beautiful shaded back patio! The ambience is also amazing if you're solo sitting at the bar or with a loved one by the fireplace!
