Perkins Bakery - Ottawa

The breakfast options at this restaurant are decent with a variety to choose from. Unfortunately, the main dishes are below average in quality. On the bright side, Magnificent Seven is complimentary on birthdays for members who sign up. However, the main dishes have small portion sizes and average taste. The crispy chicken melt is served on sourdough bread and is just okay. The service is lacking warmth. In conclusion, this restaurant is a good choice for breakfast due to its convenient location.

Sandwich and my husband had the club sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was excellent. Can't wait to try more of their menu items next time!

Today, I went out with two friends for brunch at Perkins, a fantastic place that serves breakfast all day. We had a wonderful time catching up on news. Our server, a friendly male, was quite playful. As we were finishing up, he jokingly mentioned that our bill had been taken care of. We thought he was just kidding until another server informed us that a couple with a child had actually paid for our brunch! It was such a pleasant surprise, although we may never find out who they were. Before leaving, I couldn't resist getting a slice of pie from the Perkins Bakery. Unable to choose between chocolate silk and coconut cream, I ended up getting both. As I was about to leave for my car, the server ran after me to apologize for the initial pie not meeting their standards. She exchanged it for a fresh, larger slice and even included the smaller one as well. What a kind gesture! I hope to be able to "pay it forward" in the future.

Much better experience this time around. Food was good and as usual the server was Great! Had to return my meal and my Mum 's meal... ordered the Mini Pot pie combo and when it arrived and I took the 'lid ' off the pot pie it was half empty and there was only 1 small 'strip ' of chicken, the salad that came with it had 'white ' tomatoes ... utterly disgusting food!!! My Mum 's meal, the buttered corn was over cooked in the microwave and her chicken was flat and tough. This is the most disappointing meal I 've ever had here at Perkins... The only Positive thing was Lorraine our server, she kept a smile on her face even when we ended up having to return both of our meals... Thank you Lorraine

Excellent in all respects. Our party of 3 all had different breakfasts. All plentiful, nicely presented, and great tasting. Our server was excellent in making sure everything Was as ordered. Bottomless coffee pots! Very pleased and will be returning again!
