Popeye's Luisana Kitchen - Ottawa

I am a fan of this restaurant. The Cajun grotto is delicious, but my favorite is the chicken sandwich - it's the best fast food you can find!

I was curious to try this place because it's always so busy, but I will never go back again. I ordered a three-piece chicken dinner and all the pieces were dark meat. The bread and skin were so greasy that it made a mess when I tried to eat it. The fries and onion rings were also not very good. There was no coleslaw and the cornbread was tasteless. The rest of the dining area was dirty and there was no functioning toilet. I saw a customer go in without a mask and still get served, which was concerning given the current health situation. Overall, it was a fast food fiasco and I would not recommend eating here.

I have visited multiple locations in the USA and have always enjoyed the food and service, especially on their $2 Tuesday special. However, during my visit to this restaurant in Canada, I was disappointed with the slow service and small portion sizes. The shrimp I ordered were also small and served cold. I would prefer to go to KFC instead.

Blast the doors from the colonel, chicken pieces are big and damp. Yeah, it's busy, but that's because it's good. Pages are MEH, bagged pommes, bisquits are OK...... It's about the chicken.

Yesterday it took 45 minutes to receive our order, one cook, one sever at 4.15 pm . There was a lineup of people. We had ordered a large family takeout, and as we were waiting and other people came in they served them with product...that should have been for our order. Great chicken, but i've been there before, and had to wait also. Best to go there not around lunch or supper, or anytime when people usually eat! Supper bad management!!
