Presse Cafe - Ottawa

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The hotel was fantastic, but the coffee shop was awful. I asked for more information about the different types of coffee, but the person taking my order had no clue and ended up giving me the wrong one. As I waited for my coffee, I saw a new international student being treated terribly as he tried to make my drink. He was yelled at and told to "be a man." I felt sorry for him and think he should have been trained properly instead of being humiliated in front of customers. The owners seemed racist. I wish I had left and would recommend avoiding this place.

I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was bland and the coffee was terrible. It reminded me of the episodes of Kitchen Nightmares where Gordon Ramsay asks the chef if they have given up. This place would definitely fit that description.
