Shawarma Prince - Ottawa

It was very average. The pirate was so thin in spots that it became soggy. The man who took my order was very pleasant, but the woman who took my money looked like she could care less that I was there bringing business. I felt a little rushed to make up my mind. Lots of room for improvement.

I will never give them my business again. Appalling rude service. We had ordered online via skip the dishes and when we arrived said with a smile that we were there to pickup an orde we'd placed online, the staff looked uncertain and the manager came out and brusquely said "I need the code. You have to give me the code"! We asked what he meant and he repeated he could only give the order to the driver who had the code and we would have to phone the website and get them to give us the code, etc. He was practically yelling. We pulled up our order confirmation and asked again what code they wanted - the one marked authorization code or ISO code or what.? The staff at the counter stared at us coldly and said "I know the code. You have to tell me the code". Finally we had to phone our family member at home who placed the order and have him speak to the staff, who, after several minutes of being cold and unhelpful and arguing, finally agreed that it was okay for us to take the order. even after it was sorted out the staff remained stone-faced and offered no apology. He just pushed the food toward us and said here. It was our first time ordering from them and using skip the dishes. Perhaps the restaurant is having problems with skip the dishes orders and are frustrated with the service. But that is no excuse to be rude and belligerent to customers! If we hadn't already paid I would have walked out and ordered from somewhere else that actually wanted our business! As it is, I will never visit this shawarma prince location ever again. Which is unfortunate because the food was actually very good.

Came here for an early supper. The place was empty. Now I know why. We ordered the special of $16.99 Two fountain drinks with two sides and two shawarmas. My kid and I took chicken shawarma and two potatoe sides. The chicken was dry and hard. It scraped my mouth while chewing it. The potatoes were not fresh either. They were dry and chewy. My kid didn't finish her food cause it was bland and gross. They're raving about the creator of shawarma prince being a chef well the chicken is bland and tasteless.

This was quite an eye opener. It's like a felafel but then not. What it is, is completely delish.This was our Canadian friends fave spot, so I can't compare it to anything, all I can say is I wish there were Shawarma shops in NJ!

Definitely not the same quality as before. Turnip was inedible. Donair meat was dry. Garlic sauce was missing that bite of . garlic It was busy and they were trying to hurry things. My friend ordered the grilled chicken platter and the look was of disbelieve and they said it would be more than 20 minutes to prepare? She went for the chicken platter. The potatoes were good but the garlic sauce was lacking. Disappointed. Was it too busy new owners not sure but I will not be back anytime soon.
