Siam Bistro - Ottawa

The best and it's only about 3 blocks from where I live

All the dishes we ordered were excellent. The waitress was very helpful and had great knowledge of the menu. Although it was a Tuesday night, the place was full.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Ottawa, hands down. The food is fantastic and of great quality. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends. Be sure to try the Pad Thai noodles - they are a must!

Located Ottawa’s trendy Wellington Village neighborhood, Siam Bistro is my new favorite restaurant. If you love exotic Thai flavours, this is the place for you!<br/  <br/ The moment we pull open the restaurant door, we were warmly met in the red entryway amidst a delightful decor.<br/  <br/ Its owner, a young entrepreneur took us to a quaint little table and quickly the servers presented us with a very diverse menu. The vibrant herbs like Thai basil, mint and cilantro, rich flavors of curry and coconut, are all a part of the large selection of Thai originals they serve.<br/  <br/ The satay skewers are not to be missed, as the coconut-marinated white chicken meat was succulent and the peanut sauce, tinged with spice, was just perfection!<br/  <br/ We opted for a variety of classic dishes, one as delicious as the others. They offer an array of seafood, chicken, beef, pork, tofu, vegetable dishes that are prepared to your taste. The wine list is impressionable and the lemongrass tea is delightful!<br/  <br/ Add superb service on top of all this great food, and you have a great option for dining out — especially for those who love to share as there are simply so many dishes to taste discover.

Siam Bistro is located in a fairly busy area on Wellington, so you'll have to drive around and find parking on the side streets. It's usually very busy, but they have a set lunch menu and the service (once you order) is fast. Food is flavourful and you have the option to make your meal quite spicy (which I do).
